The Floods of 1912

A view (below) of the flooded road between Quorn and Barrow. The scene is one that has been known to villagers for many years and has proved a popular attraction for children as can be seen with these young paddlers. However, due to a flood relief scheme now completed, this old regular event is a piece of history.
