Most of the photographs in this exhibition were taken by local photographer George Cocks (pictured). His legacy of some 10,000 negatives was pieced together and catalogued over a period of 8 years by David Pilgrim.
Keith Chaplin is now the guardian of the collection, and is gradually digitising them and striving to prevent further deterioration.
