7.  Nellie Clarke nee Lord
   Nellie was born in 1898 and was from a large family.  For many years, with her husband, she ran the furnishers and hardware shop in the High Street (recently Costcutter).  Throughout her life she supported the church and, following retirement, was a regular attender at Evensong on a Sunday evening.  Her memorial is the glass fronted oak notice board in the main porch of the church.
